Linda Morgan Pulliam's Obituary
Linda Morgan Pulliam, born on March 21, 1940, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025. She was the daughter of Linwood Joseph Morgan and Frances Viola Morgan.
Linda was a woman of many talents and passions. She loved playing music, painting, and even had a poem published by the Poet Society of America. Her creativity extended to crafting, and she found joy in playing the piano and a little guitar. Linda's beautiful voice graced The Silver Chords Choir at The Cross Church in Wylie, where she sang gospel music with heartfelt devotion. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was very active in her church community.
Linda was married to the love of her life, Chester Johnson Pulliam, for 45 wonderful years. Together, they built a family filled with love and warmth. Linda was described by her family as outgoing, talented, caring, kind, and loving. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. A cherished memory from her children is how Linda sacrificed a lot when her boys were younger and even made clothing and cut their hair. A testament to her creativity and her deep love for her family.
She is survived by her five sons: Jimmy Darren Pulliam (wife Lisa), Michael Wayne Pulliam (wife Tina), Tommy Ray Pulliam (wife Toni), Phillip Lee Pulliam (wife Kris), and Chester Johnson Pulliam Jr (wife Cassie). Linda's legacy continues through her 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Paulette Rae Morgan Goss, and her brother, Lonnie Joseph Morgan. Linda joins her husband Chester Johnson Pulliam, Father Linwood Morgan, Mother Frances Morgan and younger sister, Patricia Ann Morgan Carr, in eternal rest.
Linda's memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her kindness and love. She will be deeply missed.
