Linda Cunningham Saad's Obituary
Linda Cunningham Saad, 84, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026 in Dallas, Texas. She was born February 20, 1941 in Seattle, Washington to Robert and Margaret Cunningham. Linda grew up in Seattle and enjoyed competitive figure skating throughout her youth. She attended Pomona College, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in History. During that time, she spent a semester studying abroad in England. She received a Master’s degree in International Relations from Stanford University. While at Stanford, Linda met Afif Saad, her husband of almost 52 years. Afif and Linda had three sons. Though Linda had various jobs, she devoted much of her life to raising her sons, including many years of volunteering at their schools and involvement in their extracurricular activities. Outside of being a devoted wife and mother, Linda enjoyed hobbies such as painting, traveling, and reading novels.
Survivors include her three loving sons, Naddir Saad, Terry Saad and wife Donna, and Ramsey Saad, and six grandchildren, Sydney, Mason, Adrian, Leia, Ava, and Hannah Saad. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Hal Cunningham.
