Mrs Linda Lee Smith's Obituary
Linda Lee Smith was born November 9, 1946 to James and Ruby Smith. She was raised in Paducah, Kentucky. Because of her congeniality, love for entertaining, and organizational skills she became one of the top physician recruiters in the country while working for a large regional hospital in Tennessee.
While recruiting a physician for a clinic in West Tennessee, she met Dr. Micke Smith. They realized they were kindred spirits and fell into a deep love. They married on August 15, 1998 in Jackson, TN. Linda enjoyed interior decorating, cooking, entertaining and travel (especially cruising- Caribbean, NE US/Canada, and Europe.
In March 2015 she was confirmed to have Alzheimer’s Disease. She continued to be her joyful self until 2022 when she began to limit nourishment. Linda passed away peacefully on March 6, 2023 with her loving husband at her side. Linda leaves behind her husband Micke Smith, two sisters, Bev Meadows and Carol Adams, and one son Shane Johnson along with many other dear family and friends.
