Linda L. Stevens' Obituary
Born on November 12, 1941 in Sherman, Texas and passed away on March 9, 2016 in Wylie, Texas. Linda grew up in Dallas, Texas and attended South Oak Cliff High School. She met Bill at a young age and fell in love. They began their beautiful family soon after and just recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary in December 2015. Linda loved helping people and giving of herself to others. She was a caring mom and loved her children unconditionally. She enjoyed sharing time with her grandchildren as well. She was involved in her church choir and loved to sing to the Lord. Linda will be missed by all of those that loved her but we look forward to the day that we will see her again in Heaven. Preceded in death by her granddaughter, Britney M. Stevens; parents, Otis E. and Earbie L. Perry; and sister, Jim Ann Sandefer. Linda is survived by her husband, William H. Stevens; her sons, Paul Stevens and wife, Mary Ann, Kevin Stevens, and Chris Stevens and wife, Pamela; grandchildren, Aaron Stevens and wife, Kelsey, Amanda Stevens, Renee Stevens, Taylor Stevens; and brother, Larry Perry. Services for Linda will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, March 14, 2016 at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers’ Association.
