Linda Cain Stringer's Obituary
Linda Ellen Cain Stringer, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on July 25th, 2024 in Garland, Texas. She was born on March 24th, 1945 in Paterson, New Jersey to Kenneth Weldon Cain and Ellen Braun Cain.
Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold Edward Stringer, her parents, and her sister Nancy Densman. She is survived by her devoted son Kenneth Michael Stringer, her cherished daughter Cheryl Stringer Wooldridge; her adored grandchildren Kelsey Lynn Pierce, Zachary Michael Stringer, Brooke Nicole Stringer and Tristan Lynx Wooldridge, and her precious great-granddaughter Annie Sky Butler. She is also survived by her sister Karen Cain as well as her beloved cats.
One of Linda's greatest passions was Irving Tool and Mfg., the business that her father started in 1952. Linda dedicated herself to carrying on the legacy with unwavering commitment until she passed away. Her dedication to the family business exemplified not only her work ethic but also demonstrated the deep love she had for preserving family tradition.
In addition to being an astute businesswoman, Linda had a passion for travel. She explored many corners of the world but held a special place in her heart for Egypt where she traveled with her mother - who was not just a parent but also served as Linda's best friend and travel companion.
Above all else though was Linda’s devotion to family. The bond between them was unbreakable – they were together every day yet still maintained immense love and respect for each other thanks largely due to Linda's example as their matriarch.
A memorial service will be held at Wildwood Chapel at Restland on August 8th at 10 am where friends and loved ones can gather to honor Linda’s life well-lived.
Linda will be remembered fondly by all those whose lives she touched through both personal connections or professional endeavors. Her legacy will live on through those who knew and loved this remarkable woman.
