Mrs. Verble was my 1st grade teacher in 1977 at Vial Elementary school. She remained a favorite of mine throughout the years. I was thinking about her and came across her obituary. Just wanted the family to know that students from her first year of teaching still think about her. I am positive many of her students feel as blessed as I do to have had our paths cross. Vic, Tina, Dana and family, You have been in my prayers and thoughts for weeks. We live in a small world you know. Who would have guessed that when Linda was my Katie's teacher that I would a few years later become friends with Tina. Y'all have been family to me and my girls and now their families. I pray for comfort and peace for all of you. Linda is at peace now and is once again with Bill. Love you, Trina Johnson
So many sweet memories of working with Linda at Luna ~ one special one was playing eight hands on two pianos with Linda, Ruth Dennis, Karen Rushing. Linda Verble was a very special person to all who knew her. I taught fourth grade with her at Luna Elementary School. Everyone loved her. She was a great teacher with love for all of her students. She had a special interest in Science, and she made this motivational for all. Linda had wonderful wit, and teaching with her was always so much fun! I know that she will be missed by everyone, especially her family, and my sympathy goes to all. Linda Roden

Dana, Vic and Tina and all the grandchildren and great grandchildren I just want to say I am praying for you all. I remember all the good times I had with Linda and Billy and Linda's crazy, wonderful, humorous personality. She was more fun. My whole family fell in love with her from the first time we met her. The last couple of years were hard for her but she is now whole and happy and holding hands with Billy. I love you all.
Linda and I were part of the first faculty at Luna Elem. We quickly became good friends. Linda was fun to be with. She had a joke for every occasion. She was a wonderful teacher. She made science fun for her students. Linda was part of the Luna Dinner Group until she became Ill. The group helped her celebrate a birthday two years ago at the assisted living facility. I know I will miss Linda as will her family and many friends.
I had the privillege of teaching with Linda Verble at Luna Elememtary.She was a "fantasic" teacher who loved to teach and loved her students. She was a witty, sweet, kind and a very caring person. I was Blessed to have her as a "very special" friend. I have wonderful memories of us going out to lunch and on two day trips with the Lunch Bunch. You kept us laughing and were great at playing games. Linda will be misssed by all who knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with Vic, Dana and the rest of the family at this difficult time.
