Linda Ann Walker's Obituary
With heavy hearts and deep love, the family of Linda Ann Walker announces her peaceful passing on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the age of 78.
Linda was the heart of her family—a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, loyal sister, aunt, and a dear friend to many. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Walker; her father, Roy Jones; and her mother, Bernice Guesnard.
Linda’s legacy lives on through her six beloved children: Robert Bailey Jr., Treasa Castellano, Mark Walker, Michael Bailey, Chris Walker, and Cheryl Shirley. She was a proud grandmother to 19 grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sister, Nancy Cirone, with whom she shared a special lifelong bond.
A natural caregiver, Linda dedicated her life to nursing, offering compassion, comfort, and strength to those in need. Her kindness was not confined to her work—it radiated through every aspect of her life. Whether through her nurturing presence, her handmade crochet treasures, or her listening ear, she touched countless lives.
Linda found happiness in life’s simplest joys—vacations with family, crafting with her hands, and the laughter shared around her table. She had an especially sweet tooth and never passed up the chance to enjoy her favorite candies and treats. A bowl of sweets was never far from her reach, and her love for them became just one more endearing trait her family fondly remembers.
Her gentle soul, boundless love, and sweet spirit will be missed beyond measure but will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Restland Memorial Chapel, followed by interment at Whispering Waters III, Restland Memorial Park.
Though Linda has departed this world, her love and light remain. We find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, surrounded by those who went before her, and that her sweet spirit will continue to guide us always.
