Linda Walters' Obituary
Linda S. Walters of Plano, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. She was born on September 9, 1940 in Henderson, Texas and was a fourth generation Texan. She has gone to her reward with God in the arms of her savior Jesus Christ. Linda was a graduate of SMU and a CPA. During her career she worked for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. and Lasky, Hawbaker & Co. She was honored by the Dallas Chapter of CPA’s as one of the pioneer female CPA’s in Texas. Linda was a loving wife of 44 years and loving mother of two sons. After her marriage to David she lived in Farmers Branch, Parker and Plano. She had many friends everywhere and was loved by all that knew her. She is survived by her mother Mary Lou Stover, husband David, son Daniel and his wife Candace, and son Edward and his wife Christy. There will be a visitation Thursday May 13, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Linda will be cremated and a service memorializing her life will be held Saturday May 16, at 4:00 PM at Custer Road United Methodist Church
