Little did I realize when Lionel & I met in Gatlinburg TN in 1975 that our careers would follow each other for over 40 years. Competing throughout the SouthEast for different vinyl company's neither of us ever expected to continue our vinyl competition in Dallas Texas. Throughout the years as we competed we remained friends & he will be missed, until we meet again "Buc", rest in peace.

I am saddened by the news of his passing. So many memories going back to our grade school days. Lionel was always kind. He ran track, helped me teach swimming during the summer and ended up working at my father's pool company in Nashville. I caught up with him briefly through face book about a year ago.
