No words or phrases are sufficient…..but please know I am thinking of you and Lisa
May the joy that you lived life with continue as your new life begins. It was an honor to have known you, and it is an honor to continue to celebrate your legacy.
I will try to live my life half as well as Lisa lived hers. I will be tenacious.
My deepest sympathies to Lisa's family and loved ones. Her friendship will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
I worked with Lisa at SMU. In fact, our cubicles were side-by-side. Sometimes I would peak over the divider to say hi–I was always greeted by her wonderfully warm smile. I'm sitting in my cubicle now and would give anything to peak over and see her again. She was a great friend from whom I learned so much. Her intelligence, courage, grace, humor and spirit are sorely missed here. I'm lucky to have known and worked with her.
A brilliant light has been extinguished. Lisa will always be the person with the smile, the inquisitive nature, and the distinguished, positive demeanor that made everyone want to be a part of her life.
I was very sad to hear about Lisa. I remember her from the SMU MBA program, as a person who was friendly and not afraid to ask questions about what she did not understand
My mother, Kimie Simmons, was Lisa's babysitter from infancy. Lisa became our "adopted" little sister and was even included in our family pictures during that time. She was a jewel and we have always been proud of her accomplishments and will remember her beautiful life. Our prayers and thoughts are with her family.
What a fighter Lisa was. She has left a void in our workplace and our lives and we will miss her. She was a smart and warm-hearted person. I'm grateful to have had the privilege of her friendship.
