Lisa passed away peacefully at home in Dallas, TX on August 4th surrounded by loved ones. She was born December 2, 1959, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Royce and Joyce Cooley. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Royce Wyman Cooley, her grandparents, Earl and Ola Gardner and Robert and Lucy Brackett, and her sister in law, Michelle Hudson Cooley. She is survived by her mother, Joyce Gardner Cooley, Brother Clay and spouse Lisa Cooley, and Brother Clint (Wanda Burrell) Cooley. Nephews: Chase and spouse Bela Cooley, Chance Cooley, Chandler (Haley Villavaso) Cooley, and Cason Cooley. Nieces: Ciara Cooley and Madison (Edgar Corona) Cooley and Grandnieces: Kayden Cooley and Collins Cooley and best friend of many years Tina Orrick.Lisa worked as an Account Manager at Clay Cooley Auto Group for 15 years. If she wasn’t at work, she was spending time with her family and friends or watching her favorite crime show on TV. She loved splitting her time between Texas and Georgia, another place she called Home.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Restland Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. A funeral service for Ms. Cooley will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at the Restland Memorial Chapel, followed by a graveside service and reception.Funeral arrangements for Lisa Cooley have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
