Mr. Lloyd Gregory Gibbons' Obituary
GIBBONS, LLOYD GREGORY, born June 25, 1918, in Olustee, Oklahoma, and passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2007. He worked as an airline dispatcher for Braniff Airlines, attended the University of Oklahoma, and was a member of the Lovers Lane United Methodist Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, M. V. “Tootsie” Gibbons. He is survived by three daughters, Ann Kenney and husband Jim, Dorothy Buchwalter and husband Larry, Barbara Echols and husband Skip, one brother, Harold Gibbons and wife Joan, one sister, Margaret Smith, eight grandchildren, Lt. Col. Greg Maxton, Steve Kenney, Katherine Kenney, Matthew Kenney, David Lewis, Alex Lewis, Dr. Scott Echols, Shannon Echols, and five great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 1:00p.m. on Friday, April 20, at Restland Memorial Chapel, with a reception following.
