Lloyd Johnson's Obituary
Lloyd Johnson, age 96, passed away peacefully at 9:25 AM on July 4, 2018, at his home in Richardson, Texas. He was born on May 10, 1922 to his parents James Leoda Johnson and Nannie Bell Harrison. He is preceeded in death by his wife, Verma Lee Johnson, his sons, Michael Lloyd Johnson and Randy Johnson and siblings Raymond, Marvin, Dewey, Tess, Albert, and Opal Johnson. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia and her husband, Joe Carroll, his granddaughter, Carie and her husband, Stephen Herd of Garland, TX, and Craig Lloyd Carroll of Burleson, TX; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Herd, James Herd, Samuel Lloyd Herd, Luke Herd, and Sarah Carroll. Mr. Lloyd Johnson proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.The family request that visiting hours be observed at Restland Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday July 9, 2018. A funeral service for Mr. Lloyd Johnson will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Saturn Road Church of Christ located at 3030 Saturn Rd, Garland, TX 75041.Funeral arrangements for Mr. Lloyd Johnson have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
