September 1, 1954 – April 14, 2019Lloyd Emerson Moseley Jr. of Mesquite, TX passed away at the age of 64 on Sunday, April 14, 2019 after courageously battling Acute T-cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia.Lloyd was born in Dallas, TX on September 1, 1954 to Elizabeth and Lloyd Moseley Sr. He graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1972, went on to college at East Texas State, and became a Dallas Fireman/Paramedic October 3, 1990. He served at several stations during his time as a fireman, with the majority of his time spent at Station 18, Station 7, Station 56 and Station 48. Before his passing, he worked in Fire Dispatch. He was a member of Hope Sunnyvale Baptist Church, in Sunnyvale, TX. Lloyd had a servant’s heart and will be remembered as a man of God who constantly had a smile on his face and a mischievous twinkle in his eye. He was known for cutting up, his booming laugh, and the ability to find God’s grace in every situation he faced.Lloyd is preceded in death by his loving wife, Cheril, and his father, Lloyd E. Moseley Sr.He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Moseley; his sister, Ann Wyse and her family; his beloved daughters: Kathleen Moseley Frischhertz and Amanda Louise Moseley; Kathleen’s spouse, Karl Frischhertz, the grandkids he cherished, Kenneth and Madison; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins that he loved.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending a memorial contribution to one of Lloyd’s favorite organizations: Samaritan’s Purse or The North Texas Food Bank.You are invited to come celebrate the life of this amazing human being at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243. The viewing will be held Monday, April 22 from 6-8pm and a memorial service will be held at 2:30pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2019.But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
