Lloyd Ray Pitts, 92, of Rowlett, Texas died December 4, 2017 in Rockwall, Texas. He was born on June 21, 1925, to Lem & Ruby Pitts in Randolph, Texas. Lloyd was employed with Dal-Tile Corp for 36 years, retiring in 1995. He served in the United States Marines from 1943 to 1945 as a PVT first class.Lloyd is survived by his wife, Carolyn Pitts of Rowlett, Texas; daughter, Jan Garrett and husband Jim of Falls Church, Virginia; sons, Ray Pitts and wife Kari of Garland, Texas, Brandon Pitts and wife Linda of McKinney, Texas, and John Pitts of Dallas, Texas; step-daughter, Christy Duke and husband Tommy of McKinney, Texas; step-son, Greg Roper and wife Leslie of Mesquite, Texas; grandchildren, Brett Pitts and wife Ashley, Jordan Pitts and wife Laura, Reed Pitts, Clark Pitts, Melissa Pitts, Baylee Pitts, James Garrett, and Emily Garrett; Step-granchildren Kacie & Chelcie Hansard; sisters, Nancy Crawford of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Brenda Truitt of Dallas, Texas; and brother John B. Pitts of El Paso, Texas. He is preceded in death by his brother, Charles Pitts.Visitation for Lloyd will be on Friday, December 8, from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Saturday, December 9, at 3 PM at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.Funeral arangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.
