Mr. Lloyd Cameron Woody's Obituary
WOODY, DR. LLOYD C. (GRAN) born December 2, 1920 in Kansas City, MO and passed away January 12, 2008 in Plano, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Worth and Agnes Woody; sister, Helen Howard; and brother, Worth Woody Jr. Gran is survived by his wife, Acquilla Woody; son, Lloyd C. Woody Jr. and wife Debbie; daughters, Sandy Johnson and husband Chris, and Karen Franz and husband Billy; grandchildren, Jason Woody, Eric Johnson, Brook Johnson, Natalie Gregory, and Laura Franz; great grandchildren, Quinn Johnson, Baron Johnson, Savannah Johnson, Blake Johnson, and Lily Johnson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and an avid aviator. He was a graduate of Shriner Military Academy, UT of Austin, and a Los Angeles Medical School. Gran practiced around his Amarrillo residence and had a private practice in Dallas for 54 years. He was a member of the Oak Cliff Christian Church, a charter member of DSWOP, and a board member of St. Mary’s for special needs. Throughout his lifetime, he delivered over 2000 babies. A memorial service will be 4:00pm Tuesday, January 15, 2008 in Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Angels; 10450 Ellerbe Rd. Shreveport, LA 71106.
