Loc Van Vo, 80 years old of Murphy, Texas was born in Tra Vinh, Vietnam, to Sang Minh Kieu and Meo Thi Vo and passed away on February 01, 2024. He married Lanh Ngoc Nguyen on April 29, 1968 in Kon Tum, Vietnam.
Remembered by: Loc Van Vo was born on December 03, 1943 in Tra Vinh, Vietnam. He enlisted in the Army of Republic of Vietnam in 1961 and met his wife, Lanh Ngoc Nguyen, in 1966. He rose to the rank of Major and eventually married Lanh on April 29, 1968. As a Prisoner of War, he was able to immigrate his family over to the United States, and has resided in Dallas, Texas since 1994.
Loc was known for his great devotion to his wife and his family. He was patient, forgiving, and compassionate to a fault. A great model for his children and his grandchildren. His grandchildren love listening to his stories and his experience growing up in Vietnam during the mid 1900s. He enjoyed cooking for his family and taking fun walks around the neighborhood, parks, and grocery stores with his wife.

Survived by: Lanh Ngoc Nguyen (wife), Nga Thi Thu Kieu (younger sister), Phuong Kieu Vo (Oldest daughter), Vu Thanh Vo (2nd son), Phong Thanh Vo (3rd son), Phuc Thanh Vo (4th son), Oanh Kieu Vo (youngest daughter), Phuong Hoang Kieu Tran (Niece), Thi Hoang Kieu Tran (Nephew), 13 grandchildren, & 6 great-grandchildren.
