Lois Jean Beene's Obituary
Longtime resident of Dallas, passed away October 6, 2008. Born in Wellington Ks February 15 1922, she was 86 years of age. Married to H. Earl Beene in 1945 he preceded her in death in 1974. Employed by Sears in personnel she retired after 38 years. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Sears Retiree Club, Friends of Baylor Medical Center, Amer-ican Cancer Society, Amer-ican Heart Association as well as numerous other charitable organ-izations. She loved garden-ing, cooking and socializing as well as raising her beloved Poodles, Miss E and Mitzi who proceeded her. Survived by a host of family and friends, services will be held at Restland Wildwood Chapel in Dallas on October 9, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Sardis Cemetery in Jewett, Tx October 9, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice in her memory. Lois’ legacy was one of helping others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
