Lois Eileen Ernst's Obituary
Lois Eileen Ernst, age 95, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on May 04, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on April 01, 1927 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Bernard R. Currier and Mayme Edna Price Currier. Lois married Walter M. Ernst Jr. on November 07, 1945 in Rockwall, Texas. She was a loving mother and Nonny to so many. She was an exceptional hostess to everyone she met, always serving all who came to her home. She loved Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church where she was a member of Adult 8 Sunday School Class. She loved to travel and was a member of the Ramblin Sams RV Club. The most important things in her life were God, her family, and her friends.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Ernst Jr.; sisters, Helen Hamilton, Mildred Baker, and Rosemary Raines; and brothers, Russell Currier, Earl Currier and Ronnie Currier. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Isbell and Kathy Hinkle; sons-in-law, David Isbell and Carl Hinkle; grandchildren, Craig Hinkle, Kelly Parsons, Sean Isbell, and Misty Arden; great-grandchildren, Max Hinkle, Wyatt Hinkle, Carley Arden, Cutler Arden, Annalee Isbell, Tessa Isbell, and Skylar Parsons, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on May 9, 2022 at Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church, located at 9810 La Prada Dr., Dallas, Texas 75228. Visitation is 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Interment at Restland Cemetery.
