Lois Wardlaw Geddie's Obituary
Lois Wardlaw Geddie was born June 10, 1926 in Munday, Texas and passed away August 17, 2016 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Edna Wardlaw; mother and father-in-law, Bonner and Mary Geddie; twin brother and wife, Dorse and Jackie Wardlaw; sister and brother-in-law, Corrine and Ed Jetton. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Ralph A. Geddie; daughter Deborah Haynes and husband, Benny; son Dennis Geddie and wife, Janet; daughter, De Berube and husband, Budd; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and she left behind a loving family filled with nieces and nephews and cousins and an aunt. She was a longtime member of Pleasant Mound United Methodist Church and more recently, Redeemer Bible Church. Lois was the co-founder along with her husband of Geddie’s Photography in Dallas. Over the years, she was active in the Pleasant Grove Chamber of Commerce, SE Dallas YMCA, and a member of the Dallas Professional Photographers Association. A memorial service will be held at 2:30pm, Monday, August 22, 2016 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Honorary pall bearers are John Grigsby, James Grigsby, Budd Berube, Gunnar Geddie, Spencer Bradley, Brian Smith, Chris Scharrer and Jerry Jetton. In lieu of flowers, the family request any memorial by made to Redeemer Bible Church or to the charity of your choice.
