Lois Elizabeth Harrington's Obituary
Our precious mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on March 20, 2019. She was a beautiful example of love and joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. She lived these attributes ever day. She celebrated 102 wonderful years. Lois ws born in Marion, Kansas and graduated Marion High School and received an associates degree from Wichita Business Company, owned by Ed Harrington. They were married 2 years later. Being a gifted pianist, Lois played for church all her life and led people to worship through her music. She had 2 daughters, Joanna Coffey and Jeanne Edwards. After her girls were grown, she joined the accounting firm of Hank R. Pearson, CPA. Mr. Pearson has remained a dear friend to her and her family and visited her often. Written in her Bible, these words were found, “I love the Lord, he is my forever hope he will continue to be until the day I die, I want to obey his word and listen to Him. I will love you forever”. Lois is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years and her daughter Joanna. She is survived by her daughter Jeanne Edwards and her husband Richard; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held Friday, March 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Ellis Chapel of Park Cities Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to SOZO Coalition, P.O.
