Lois Muriel Petty's Obituary
PETTY, LOIS MURIEL SWENSON passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Dallas at 83 years of age. Lois was born in Medford, Mass to Swen and Nellie Swenson. She studied nursing at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston and at Charity Hospital and Tulane Hospital in New Orleans. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 49 years, Dr. Charles S. Petty. She is survived by her daughter, Heather (Davis) Lehman; son, Charles; stepson, Daniel Petty and stepdaughter, Carol (James) Catlin and 5 grandchildren. She enjoyed bird watching and collecting postage stamps. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Baltimore, Maryland. Memorials may be sent to the Transplant Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
