Lois Alleyne Searcy's Obituary
SEARCY, LOIS ALLEYNE Age 86, resident of Dallas since moving from Houston in 1973, and entered eternal life with the Heavenly Father on May 22, 2013. Lois is survived by her husband of 53 years, T. N. Searcy, and sons, Ronald Searcy of Dallas; Robert Searcy and wife, Karroll of Irving; Douglas Searcy and wife, Beth of Ft. Worth; daughter-in-law, Linda Searcy of Bowie; and wife of deceased son, Phillip. She also leaves behind two grandsons, Jason Searcy of Winson, Co and Chip Searcy of Ft. Worth; two wonderful great grandsons, George and Teigen Searcy of Colorado. Surviving siblings are brothers, Kent Wistrand (missionary in Mexico), Glen and wife, Helen of Salado; sisters, Dr. Lila Robinson of Temple, and Barbara and husband, Robert Whitman of Plano. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends will greatly miss Lois. She worked 22 years as an executive secretary for Superior Oil in Houston, and 10 years for General Reinsurance in Dallas. Her life was filled with the joy of helping others, caring for her family, and seeking the will of God. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2013 in Restland Wildwood Chapel, funeral services following immediately after at 3:00 PM with Rev. Donald Geiger officiating. Interment to follow in Restland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jason Searcy, Chip Searcy, Mark Whitman, Glenn Whitman, Robert Price, and Tony Lozano.
