Lolly Gatewood McKenzie's Obituary
Lolly McKenzie, 62, of Richardson, TX, passed away on August 21st from COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). Lolly was born in Norwalk, Connecticut, to John and Dolores (Dee) McKenzie. The family moved to Texas in 1964. She attended Richardson schools and graduated from J.J. Pearce Highschool in 1977.
Lolly had a big heart, a big sense of humor and lived to have fun. She loved telling jokes, making others laugh and having a good time. She also loved to travel. But mostly, she loved her family and her friends and was especially fond of her cat, Myra.
She was preceded in death by her father and her mother. She is survived by her sisters, Kathy Shoope and Genie McKenzie, her nieces, Bonny Boedeker and Amanda Dietrich and nephews, Robert Boedeker and Gregg Shoope Jr. She will be missed but never forgotten.
