Lorece Staggers' Obituary
Lorece Staggers was born to the parentage of Vander Lee Staggers Sr, and Margella Hunter Staggers on November 1, 1936, in Emmett, Arkansas. She was the 1st child of 6 children and was raised in Arkansas. Lorece received her education at Emitt Keith.
Lorece was proceeded in death by sister's Hazel Marie, and Mary Ella Block and Brother Vander Lee Staggers Jr.
Lorece was a licensed X-Ray Technician. and worked at Nevada County Hospital in Prescott Arkansas. She later moved to Dallas, TX and trained to be a EKG Technician. After successfully completed her schooling, she worked at Presbyterian Dallas Hospital. she worked there for over 30 years and retired.
Lorcere friendly and loving personality will be forever cherished by her co-workers. she was a member of Scott Street church of Christ in Prescott. Arkansas and later gained a new church home in Dallas Texas formerly known as Hamiliton Park but currently is Greenville Ave Church of Christ. She loved her church and attending even when her health declined. She loved her church family as well. Lorece referred to her friends of church as her "young at heart crew".
Lorcece married Steve John Scott to this union no children were born. Lorece was known for sassy attitude and sharp dressing skills. She had no problem expressing how she felt or saying what was necessary.
Lorece leaves behind her only child Greg Brown. She also leaves two granddaughter Britney Echell Perkins and Ryan Brown. 2 sisters Mattie Howery of Memphis and Essie Anothony of Dallas. 4 great grands Amari, Deshawn, Ayden, Elijah Perkins Austin,Jaleel ,Nailani, Adrionna Perkins all of Arlington. And a host of nieces and nephews.
She loved functions traveling and dining. She loved sports and attending games her son played in and being called the loudest cheerleader in the stands. The beauty of it all was she cheered for all of the kids she watched play over the years.
Prescott, Arkansas a place she remembered and will always call home.
