Lorene Chiles' Obituary
CHILES, LORENE HAYNIE age 89, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014. She was born on September 24,1924 in San Antonio, Texas USA to her parents, Mr. Ralph Haynie and Mrs. Clarabelle Haynie. Lorene was the oldest of 2 children. She married Robert Chiles in Austin, Texas on June 9, 1945. They had 1 child. She attended The University of Texas and graduated in 1945 with a Bachelor’s in Bacteriology. She was a long-time resident of Dallas, Texas for 60 years. She was employed by Parkland Hospital as a microbiologist for 20 years. Lorene was a member of Lovers Lane United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, gardening and travel to Europe. Lorene will be remembered by her loving child, Robbie. Preceded in death by her husband, Bob Chiles and her brother, Wally. Memorial Service will be Sunday afternoon January 19, 2014 at Lover’s Lane United Methodist Church, Dallas, Texas.
