Loretta Jean Barnett's Obituary
On August 11, 1931, Loretta Jean Barnett was born to the parentage of Will and Georgia Adams. She accepted Christ at an early age and later became a member of the First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park where she was a faithful member of the choir.
She met and married Norman Barnett and together, they raised three children: Eric, Sybil, and Thalia. Loretta was a very diligent worker and often served others. Loretta was an outstanding worker for Texas Instruments for 20+ years where she retired, while also continuing her education throughout her working career. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, friend, and grandmother to all and will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Georgia Adams; husband Norman Barnett; son, Eric Wayne Barnett; daughter, Thalia Mason; brothers John and Will Adams; -great grand daughter, Amber. She leaves to cherish her memories: Daughter, Sybil Chester; Son-in-law, James Mason; Sister-in-laws: Nody Adams and Alice Faye Sheppard; Four grandchildren: Felicia Crawford (Tyrone), Michael Chester, Melody Chester, and Ericka Washington (Doyle); Seven great grandchildren; Donovan, Samuel, Courtland, JaLisa, D'Eric, Roland, and Keavyn; two great great grandchildren: Elyja and Cania; special friends: Cheryl Chandler, Sherry Rand, Elaine and Frank Johnson, Father Milam Joseph, and a host of other relatives and friends.
