Lori Sayles Carlisle's Obituary
Lori Sayles Carlisle, age 63, peacefully passed away on September 9, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. Born on April 20, 1961, in Dallas, Lori was the beloved daughter of Alvin Dean and Joyce Nancy Sayles. Her life was a tapestry woven with love, joy, and countless cherished moments.
Lori was a woman of vibrant spirit and warmth, with a deep passion for cooking, live music, shopping, traveling, and the company of her cherished dog, Triscuit. Her kindness and zest for life touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Craig Carlisle; her two children, Jess Prescott and Max Powers; her son-in-law, Alex Prescott; and her two adoring grandchildren, Jake and Madeline Prescott. Lori was preceded in death by her dear parents, Alvin Dean and Joyce Nancy Sayles.
In honor of Lori's memory, the family requests that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and the American Liver Foundation, both causes that held a special place in her heart.
Lori will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of sharing in her life. Her memory will forever reside in the hearts of those she touched.
A memorial service to celebrate Lori’s life will be held on Friday, September 13th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Restland Funeral Home Wildwood Chapel.
