Lorraine O. "Lori" Veith's Obituary
Lorraine O. Veith “Lori”, 95, born on November 4, 1922, in Isle, MN, passed peacefully in her sleep on January 7, 2018. She was the 2nd youngest of 11 children born to Hannah and Magnus Olsson. Survived by her daughter, Andrea Hill and her husband, Lowell; and her son, Larry Booth and his wife Gail; granddaughter, Kimberly Stokes and her husband, Roger and their children, Kaylee and Piper; and grandson, Scott Booth and his children, Brooklyn, Logan, and Madison.Lorraine was well known for her Dallas apparel companies, Lori Veith Sales, and Lordane Jewels. Both of which were sold to her close and dear friends in the fashion business, Dana Melton and Paul Sutton, who continue them today.She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, John Veith, -and her grandson Rob Hill and numerous pets, all equally loved. At her request, a private service will be held. Any memorials donations can be made to Lori’s favorite charity, the SPCA of Texas.
