Lorraine was the Spirit of Missions in an effervescent package! It bubbled out all over the place! The Missioins Conference at Kirkwood was one of the first I ever attended when we were preparing for the mission field. I have spoken in over a hundred churches since that time, and have never "felt" missions more palpably than with Lorraine. She and her faithful cohort published our quarterly missionary newsletter for eighteen years! What a joyful servant of the Lord! We always new we could count on her prayers and her listening ear. Heaven has another precious jewel with genuine sparkle!

Mom Schultz was the best. She loved to sing and play the piano and she had the most distinctive laugh I will never forget. She will be missed by so many. I will always have fond, loving memories of her that will be cherised forever.

A life of a wonderful friend I will store in my memory folder forever. Our friendship began in the 50's when this family of four at the time, Bill, Lorraine, Mike and David joined Shepherd Drive United Methodist Church where I belonged, and I believe Debbie was born in Houston before they moved to Irving,TX. We were in the Methodist Womans Society of Christian Service (as it was known then) and sang in the choir together. She was a joy to be around and always had a beautiful smile on her face. Lorraine was such an encouragement to us through all our years on the mission field, both in Ghana and Paraguay. Even before we left for Ghana, she organized a baby shower for our daughter, Elizabeth, across the miles. Lorraine faithfully printed and mailed our missionary newsletter from our very first one in April 1990 until December 2008 -WOW!!! We loved the Mission conferences she organized for Kirkwood United Methodist Church with the banners and the potluck. She prayed for us, remembered our birthdays and those of our children, and sent personal letters to keep us up todate with ewhat was happening in the uSA. She even continued this with email letters later when we got internet overseas. She knew what our children were doing and what they were going through even though we lived overseas. She kept in contact with Grandma Helen Eisenberg. She was our prayer warrior and our friend. We miss her.
