In Loving Memory of Louis George Cerda Jr.
Louis George Cerda Jr. passed away on January 1, 2025 at his home in Dallas, TX.
Louis George Cerda Jr. was second born to Louis George Cerda Sr. and Carlota Chantaca Cerda on March 11, 1953. Profession of faith given on April 7, 1963 at Oak Lawn Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother Carlota Ch. Cerda, father Louis George Cerda Sr. and sister Noelia Linda Cerda.
Louis is survived by his daughter Aleshia Denise Cerda and son-in-law Matthew Pearce. He will be deeply missed by his granddaughters Kalista Cerda Pearce and Kassie Simone Pearce. He is also survived by his extended family Elizabeth Munoz.
Louis graduated in 1971 from Sunset High School in Oak Cliff, Dallas, TX and attended community college as well as business college courses and mechanic trade school, briefly.
Louis has a long line of wonderful friends. He was retired, having enjoyed a diverse career, including roles at Carl's Sewing Corner, St. Regis Paper Company, J. Bates Company, Manager at Goodyear and Aaron's, Logistics Manager DMDA, Epsilon and Summit.
Louis was a loving father, deeply devoted to his Lord and family. Most of all he cherished spending time with his loved ones.
He endured dialysis at Dallas Renal Group on Gaston Avenue in Dallas, TX from 2018 to the end of life.
Funeral services will be held on January 13, 2025 at 2 pm at Restland Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service.
