Mr. Louis Edward Stanfield, age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 9, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on January 21, 1930, to his loving and thoughtful parents George Stanfield and Mary Alice Kennedy in Dallas, Texas. Louis loved his God and family first and foremost. Louis was an avid outdoors man. He enjoyed hunting with his lifelong friend and Masonic brother Jack Hester as well as other friends and family. Louis was happy and full of life. He loved his life and home. His home was always open to family and friends with a loving heart and welcoming smile. With his loyalty and loving nature, he was considered a hero and an angel by many. He now has his wings and is watching over us all. God bless each and every one of you for your support and prayers.Louis was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Gatewood, his parents, George and Alice Stanfield, and two sisters, Bobbie Andrews, and Billie Nicholson.Louis is survived by his sister, Georgia Katherine Bilyeu, daughters, Deborah Stanfield, Patricia Russell and Vickie Thomas, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.Louis was a Master Mason for 50 years in Good Standing of Edwin J.
