David, Larry, my two oldest friends, please except my condolences.
I have many fond memories regarding your dad. My most memorable as you both know as we've discussed it many times. Almost five decades ago your dad afforded me an opportunity, which I commonly refer too as a Huckleberry Finn adventure of a lifetime. This opportunity consisted of fishing, camping out and cooking on a open fire or Coleman stove in Northern New Mexico, various small towns in Southwestern Colorado, including Ouray, Silverton, Durango, Telluride to name a few. Of course, there were other adventures on that trip too, the ride on the Narrow Gauge railroad, silver mine tour, the inclined rail way at the Royal Gorge and many, many more. I've shared the many awesome memories of this trip with my children and others.
I have many additional memories of your dad, including him outfitting motor cycles to carry three when the two of you were younger.
Of course there were the trips to the GO-Kart track in Grand Prairie, were your dad would verbally reprimand us for track violations.
Many times during the 1980's I saw your dad riding around Duncanville on his motorcycle with his dog, the dog always outfitted with sun shades.
Thanks Louis for many fond memories, memories that still put a smile on my face.
