Louis Wayne Underwood's Obituary
Louis Wayne Underwood, 78, passed away on February 16, 2021, of unknown causes at Dallas VA Hospital, after a lengthy convalescence at home. Louis was born on April 21, 1942 in Brownsville, PA to the late Agnes (Weaver) and Elliott Underwood. He was a loving husband, father, Papa, son, brother, and uncle--He will be dearly missed.
Louis worked at Ford Motor Company in Lorain, Ohio from 1971 and retired in 1996. he resided in Mesquite, TX, the last 26 years.
He served in Vietnam in the Army and was a proud disabled veteran.
Louis attended LakePointe Church in Mesquite and was a member of Vietnam Veterans.
He was an avid bowler and a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Miller Underwood, Elliot Underwood, Jr., Russell Underwood, Robert Underwood, Ernest Underwood, and Edward Underwood; sisters, Helen Pavlick, Margaret Simms, Bertha Baniak, and Betty Whitcomb.
He is Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Judy Underwood; daughters, Cathy Bitten and husband, John Bitten, and Christi Underwood; grandchildren, Reid Bitten, Robert Bitten, Alexis Underwood, Brianna Underwood, Maklah Price and Therin Price; great granddaughter, Adalynn Noel and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
