LOUISE MARY PINSON BLACKSTONE, A.K.A. “Frenchy” (96) was born in Bunkie, LA on June 25, 1920 and passed away on September 18, 2016 in McKinney, Texas. Daughter of Willis Mayeux and Ella Newton of Marksville, LA. Louise was employed by Superior Foods, Inc. for 26 years and then retired. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Quinton Pinson (10-01-1995) and second husband, Eddie Ray Blackstone (10-11-2004), Granddaughter, Michelle Ann Pinson (09-15-2005) and her youngest son, Jerry Quinton Pinson (07-08-2015); Her four (4) Brothers, Falis, Lester, Ivan & Irby J. Mayeux and two (2) Sisters, Hazel Mayeux & Inez Mary Flesch “Bootsie” of Kentucky. Survivors: Son, Jimmy L. Pinson & his wife, Dianna of Murphy, Texas, Sister-In-Law Helen Mayeux of Natchitoches, LA. Grandchildren: Curtis Lynn Pinson and Stephanie Whitlatch and husband, Bill. Great Grandchildren: Curtis Quinton Pinson, Nathan Douglas Pinson, Journey Dawn Pinson Hughes and Landon Miles Shelton. Nephews: Danny Mayeux of Dallas, Texas, Donnie Mayeux of Picayune, Mississippi and Darrell Mayeux of LaQuinta, California. Nieces: Evelyn Louise Mayeux “Sis” of West Columbia, South Carolina; Karen Mayeux Adams, and husband, Joe of Corsicana, Texas. Stepchildren: Julie Blackstone Penna and son, Mark Penna of Houston, Texas, Sadie Blackstone of Houston, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and acquaintances. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Friday, September 23, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
