Louise Lamar's Obituary
Louise was born June 7, 1926 in Sherman, Texas to Lorrin Nelson and Dessa Lovelady Nelson. She died May 7, 2023 in Richardson, Texas.
She married Doyle Smallwood April 25,1945 and they were blessed with three children, Vicki, Marsha and Mark. Doyle died in 1958. Jim Lamar came into her life in 1962 and they married August 24, 1963. They were blessed with a daughter, Janet. Jim died in 1983.
She was a devoted member of The Waterview Church of Christ since 1964.
She had the sweetest spirit. She was the backbone of our family, always so strong, caring and loving. Her children and grandchildren adored her.
Louise is survived by her children: Vicki Sevieri and her husband David; Marsha Russell and her husband Donnie; Mark Smallwood; Janet McMurtre and her husband Bill. Grandchildren: Todd Hawley, Tiffany Bearden, Scott Russell, Garron Glazener and Clint Glazener. She had six great grand children and one great-great grandson. She is also survived by her sister, Jean Kirk, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, grandson Rob Hawley and her sister, Betty France.
