Mrs. Louise Virginia Sawyer's Obituary
Louise Virginia Sawyer, 90, of Garland, Texas, was born December 19, 1924 in Grand Saline, Texas and went home to be with Jesus October 4, 2015 in Garland, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and son, Ronald, and survived by her daughters, Bobbie Cornelius and husband, Charles of Garland, and Jean McCarver and husband, Bruce McCarver of Lorena; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and sister, Cathy Barry. Louise loved the Lord God with all her heart. She shared this love with all those around her. She never met a stranger and always enjoyed visiting with people. She was a hard worker and retired from E-Systems in Garland. She loved going to church and was a member at First Baptist Church of Garland, Texas. She loved being outside whether it was taking walks, tending to her garden and lawn, or fishing on the lake. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, holding all her greatgrandbabies, and taking care of those around her. She was loved and will be greatly missed, but we know today she is with her Savior in Heaven. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Garland, with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 at Restland Road.
