Louise Yarbrough's Obituary
Vivian Louise Yarbrough was born April 25, 1927 to Charles Robert and Carmen McCarty in Coweta, OK. Louise passed away on April 23, 2018 surrounded by family.She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, James Robert, and an infant great grandson, James Allan. Louise was survived by her husband of over 70 years, Charles Yarbrough, and three children; daughter, Debby Yarbrough and husband, Richard; son,Charles Yarbrough II and wife, Judy; daughter, Becky Waight and husband, Ken. She was also survived by nine grandchildren, Shahana and Yusuf Ali; Jennifer Harkleroad, Elizabeth Cox, David Yarbrough and Collin Yarbrough; Allison Diaz, Andrew Waight and Christopher Waight and nine great grandchildren.Louise loved teaching childrens’ Sunday School classes in the various churches she and Charles attended as they moved around the United States and Canada during Charles’ career. She was also a faithful member of the adult choirs of those churches. When she and Charles moved to Dallas, she joined the Bright Fellowship class, Sanctuary Choir and Newsong Senior Adult choir at Wilshire Baptist Church. The family wishes to thank the Presbyterian Village North Community, the staffers of Joyce Hall, The Terrace and the Healthcare Unit as well as Faith Hospice for their loving care for Louise over the last few years.A visitation will be held at Restland Funeral Home,13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 on Friday, April 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be at Wilshire Baptist Church, 4316 Abrams Road, Dallas, TX 75214 at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. George Mason presiding.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pathways to Ministry Endowment at Wilshire Baptist Church.
