Louvee Hortense Nevil Norman's Obituary
Norman, Louvee Hortense Nevil Age 97 was born on July 25, 1916 in Dodd City, Texas, and was called to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 11, 2013. Louvee is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn G. Norman, Sr.; parents, Wylie and Dovy Mae Nevil; her brothers and one sister. She is survived by daughters, Peggie Norman Causey, Barbara Norman Beall, and Lila Norman Seida; son, Glenn G. Norman, Jr.; grandchildren, Bruce and Douglas Causey, Suzanne Beall Feckley, Arthur O. Beall III, Jason Beall, David, Steven and Mark Seida, Natalie Norman Adair, and Sheila Norman Hunter as well as 19 great grandchildren. The family resided in University Park until the early 70’s, at which time Mr. and Mrs. Norman moved to the Conroe, Texas area. Louvee was a dedicated loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed entertaining the family at Thanksgiving and Christmas time for many years. She loved to play bridge and most table games and was an expert knitter. Louvee was also a crack shot on the skeet range and placed first in a Louisiana pistol marksmanship competition. During WWII, Louvee headed up the West Dallas Milk Fund for the Highland Park Methodist Church. During their stay in Conroe, Mr. and Mrs. Norman were generous contributors to the First Methodist Church of Willis, Texas. She was a member of Eastern Star. The family would like to thank the Villa Ascuncion in Princeton, Texas for their loving care and attention during her 11 year residence. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Restland Abbey Chapel with interment at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baylor Hospital, McKinney, Texas.
