Mrs. Lovita Joan Thompson, 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, in Mesquite, Texas. She was born on Thursday, June 2, 1938, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Elmo Woodlee and Allie May Akins Woodlee in Dallas, Texas.She married Robert Thompson and worked at Medicos Medical for 25 years.She is survived by her daughter Sheila Thompson (Mesquite, Texas), 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Thompson and her daughter April Morrison.Visitation for Mrs. Lovita Joan Thompson will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Restland’s Wildwood Chapel with her funeral service following at 3:00 p.m.Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Lovita Joan Thompson have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
