Mr. Lowell Brent Jones' Obituary
JONES, LOWELL “BRENT”, PLANO: beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend died at the age of 37, Fri., Jan. 26, after suffering a brain aneurism Tue., Jan.. 23. Brent was born March 21, 1969 to Vickie R. and Tommy L. Jones. After graduating from Plano Sr. High School in 1987 Brent went to work for The Home Depot where he celebrated 21 years of service. Survived by his wife, Carrie Jones, mother, Vickie R. Jones, sister, Lori McGowen, beloved niece Kristi, nephew Richard, his loyal companion Hershey and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will all miss Brent more than words can say. Brent was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. After the death of his father, Tommy L. Jones, in 1999 Brent inherited the family ‘honey-do’ lists and took on the role of head of the family. Brent was a Star Wars fanatic, so much so he had Darth Vader tattooed on his arm. He loved playing, and beating, people at trivia games. The CCU waiting room at Plano Medical Center will never be the same after the last 3 days during which family and friends shared ‘Brent’ stories that made you laugh until you cried. Brent will be remembered for his wit, sense of humor and giving spirit. In keeping with that giving spirit, Brent’s organs will be donated so that others can live on. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Guiding Eyes for the Blind, the American Heart Association, the American Cancer society or the charity of your choice.
