Loy Glenn Glasco "L.G."'s Obituary
Loy Glenn Glasco, 83, of Mesquite, TX was born on January 28, 1934 to James C. and Vesta Lee Glasco in Glimer, TX and passed away on December 5, 2017 in Dallas, TX due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease. He married Karen Homburg on June 19, 1982 in Dallas, TX. He worked in sales as presenter at Dr. Pepper Bottling CO of Texas, and Dr. Pepper company for 52 years. He was an active church member, serving as chair person for the library committee and chair for long term planning. At one point he was president of Texas Longhorn Potter Association and many other associations. Also he was active in Dallas Restaurant Association and was Vice President of Southwest Fountain Supply a company owned by Dr. Pepper. He is survived by his wife Karen Glasco, his sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Mike Wager and sister and brother-in-law Fred Homburg and wife Chris. His nieces Jessica Barber and Patsy McCrummen, great-grand nieces Madeline and Rachel Barber. His nephews James Glenn Glasco and wife Darlene Barber, Jimmy McCrummen and Robert McCrummen, grand-nephews Jason Barber and wife Debbie, David Barber and wife Lisa and great-grand nephew Carson Barber. Loy is preceded in death by his adopted son Mark Glasco and infant brother baby Glasco. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 12:00-12:30 PM in the Restland Wildwood Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 also in the Restland Wildwood Chapel.
