LAKES, LOY R. born on August 1, 1924 in Forney, TX and passed away August 14, 2007 in Dallas, TX. Loy is preceded in death by his son, Richard Todd Lakes. He is survived by his wife, Susie Lakes; daughter, Barbara Jean Cooper and husband, Jerry; and God-son, Thom Brownlee. Loy was in the U.S. Navy. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 17, 2007 in Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Interment to follow at D.FW. National Cemetery.
