Loyd Hulan Deets' Obituary
Loyd Hulan Deets, 85, of Wylie, Texas passed away on March 12, 2020, in Wylie, Texas. He was born on May 22, 1934, to Hulan Deets and Emma Corley in Garland, Texas. He married Bonnie Cunningham on March 9, 1955 in Sherman, Texas. He was a Firefighter, Captain for 33 years in Garland, Texas. He was a Volunteer Firefighter for 25 years. He served in the Navy from 1954 to 1965.
Loyd is survived by his wife, Bonnie Mae Deets of Wylie, Texas, daughters, Toni Tauzin of Frisco, Texas, and Kathy Tullock of Wylie, Texas, son, Daniel Deets, sister, Ora Nell Walker of Richardson, Texas, brother, Coy Deets of Sachse, Texas, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by James Hesley Deets, Robert Armine Tauzin, and Noah Deets.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Wylie. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Wylie, located at 100 N. 1st Street, Wylie, Texas 75093. Burial following at Restland Cemetery at 1:00 p.m., located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.
