Lucianne Knight Alderdice's Obituary
Lucianne Knight Alderdice, age 89, of Dallas passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 23, 2021. She was born September 19, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas to Thomas Huffmeyer Knight and Elsie Lorene Heyen Knight . She was a much beloved mother, friend, and Christian servant.
She married the love of her life, William Bryan Alderdice on April 16, 1952. They raised their three children in Dallas and were married for 64 years before she was preceded in death by her husband. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Huffmeyer Knight, Jr.
Lucianne was a fulltime homemaker and was very active in her church groups as well as in community service committees.
Lucianne is survived by son William B. Alderdice, Jr. and wife Sharon of Plano, daughter Louann Williams and husband Charles of Nacogdoches, daughter Janet Kay Thorne and husband Pace of The Woodlands, grandchildren Joseph Shannnon, Jennifer Shannon, Aaron Alderdice, Alexandra Hunter, Whitney Freeberg, Travis Williams, Garrett Williams and eight great grandchildren.
