Lucie Love Carleton's Obituary
Lucie Love Carleton born December 29, 1939 in Lufkin, Texas and passed away on June 5, 2015 after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne Marie Peyton and her first husband, William Thomas Peyton. Lucie is survived by her husband, Gene Carleton; daughter, Marian Hamlett and husband, Tim; grandson, Tom Hamlett and granddaughter, Caitie Hamlett; son, Michael Peyton and wife, Janice; son, Mark Peyton and his partner Seija Nordling; brother, Stanley Spitler and wife, Shirley and their son, Scott Spitler; sister, Fran Hamilton and her husband, Jack and their children, David Peacock and Beth Skinner. Son-in-law, Gene Carleton Jr. and wife, Anne; grandson, Chris Carleton and wife, Nicole; great grandson, Zachery Carleton; great granddaughter, Autumn Carleton; son-in-law, Joseph Carleton; son-in-law, James Carleton; granddaughter, Marina Carleton; and two twin grandsons, Mark and Mike. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Northway Christian Church, 7202 W. Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX. 75225. Lucie lived into her given name “Lucie Love”. All her children, relatives and friends were constantly on her mind. If she spent any time with you at all, you went on her “Love List” and she dearly loved to tell you she loved you. Lucie loved to love. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
