Lucille Mitchell's Obituary
Lucille Mitchell entered eternal life on August 26, 2015 in Dallas surrounded by her husband, children and loved ones. Lucille was born November 28, 1932 in the small town of Crystal Springs, Mississippi to Ernest and Blanche Thornton, one of eight children. Lucille followed her sister Mary Jo Frank to Oklahoma then moved to Dallas TX where she meet the love of her life Roy Mitchell. While raising their three daughters, she had a career in banking. Lucille loved being a mother, but she especially loved being a grandmother and better still a great-grandmother. Lucille leaves behind a legacy of family that will miss her deeply, but who finds peace in the knowledge that they will see her again. Her loving spirit will be carried on for generations by family and friends whose lives will be forever touched and grateful for knowing her. Lucille is survived by her husband Roy whom she was married to for sixty one years; children: Vicki Cole and husband AJ, Cindy Jarrell, Connie Mulholland and husband Steve, and six grandchildren: Jamee Little and husband Stephen, Tracee Mosseller and husband Colby, Dionne Lowe and husband Michael, Casie Jackson and husband Israel, Kaydee Bellon and husband RJ, Mitchell Mulholland and fiancé Chelsea Walls, 8 great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Jacob, Amelia, Mason, Tanner, Emma, Zane, and Zoey. Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Monday, August 31, 2015 at 3:00 PM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
