Lucky Phuoc Ngo's Obituary
Lucky Phuoc Ngo was called to Heaven on January 22, 2016 in Garland, Texas at the age of 63. Lucky Phuoc was born December 5, 1952 in Saigon, Vietnam to Ke Ngo and Trieu Nguyen who predeceased him. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Dinh and Tam. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diem Maria; two brothers and their spouses, Jimmy Tri Ngo and Phuong Thanh Ngo; sister Loc Thi Ngo; daughter Cyndie Vuong and her spouse; daughter Uyen Henson and her spouse; son Jonny Phi Ngo; daughter Mary Ngo; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren. Lucky Phuoc served in the Vietnamese Air Force specializing in air traffic control and radar. He left Vietnam at the age of 28 with his two daughters to travel to the United States to start a new life for his family. His wife and son followed soon after. Lucky Phuoc had an unwavering faith in God. He was an active member of the Mother of Perpetual Help Vietnamese Catholic Church in Garland where he taught Catechism and adult formation classes for over 15 years. He is known for his smile, faith, selflessness and generosity. He was always willing to help others and support the community. Family will receive friends on Wednesday and Thursday, January 27-28th, 2016 from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM in The Abbey Chapel. Rosary will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 7:00 PM in The Abbey Chapel. Service will be held on Saturday January 30, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Mother of Perpetual Help Vietnamese Catholic Church in Garland, Texas. Lucky Phuoc requested to be cremated. His ashes will be inurned following the service at Restland Memorial Park. Flowers and memorials may be sent to Restland Funeral Home at 13003 Greenville Ave in Dallas, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
