Lucy Viola Toton's Obituary
Lucy Viola Toton, age 86, of Farmers Branch, Texas was born July 26, 1937, in Sulphur Springs, Texas to John W. Jones and Helen D. Jones, passed away on November 1, 2023. She married Glenn Toton on April 15, 1960, in Dallas, Texas.
She was an active member of Webb Chapel Baptist Church in Farmers Branch. She loved her Lord and her church family and served faithfully for many years. She enjoyed serving in many areas of the church, singing in the choir, and teaching both young and adult Sunday School. She truly had a servant’s heart.
For many years she worked alongside her husband in their family A/C and heating business. She later retired from Southern Methodist University where she worked for over 20 years as an Administrative Assistant for two distinguished professors.
Some of her happiest moments were spent making memories with her children and grandchildren. Oh, how she loved her role as Nanny. She loved traveling to and attending their church and school events, baseball games and cheer competitions.
In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, crafting, attending local craft shows, and watching and cheering on her favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers.
She will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who loved her dearly.
