Lula Ruth Ogdon Fleming's Obituary
Fleming, Ruth ~ Age 88, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, February 25, 2011. Ruth was born in Conway, Arkansas on October 26, 1922. She lived in Texas for many, many years. She is fondly remembered for her sweet and caring attitude and special friendships. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. She enjoyed watercolor painting and knitting. She touched many young lives during her years as a Sunday school teacher. She was a faithful worker in the church library. Her spiritual life was enhanced by her Baptist faith. She was a member of Farmers Branch Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Donald Fleming, her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Pat Malone, her granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Patricia and Bill Young and Jennifer and Duane Masengill. She was especially proud of her great-grand children, Ashley Young, Erik Masengill and James Masengill. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. The service will be conducted by pastors Sam Underwood and W. W. Baker on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park.
